MGI Worldwide CPAAI holds another successful Virtual North America Conference. Don’t miss the highlights!
MGI North America’s Virtual Conference was held on November 18, 2021, and it was a success! The conference format was changed from in-person to virtual due to COVID and thirty-three members gathered via Zoom. Members engaged in lively conversations on topics impacting the accounting industry today.
Joseph Tarasco, Regional Director of MGI North America, welcomed everyone and kicked-off the conference by providing an overview of the agenda. Next, Joe introduced Jeff Vroman and Ed Fahey, Co-Chairs of MGI North America’s Board of Directors. Jeff and Ed discussed the 2021 accomplishments and provided insights and a preview of what members can expect in 2022, including an overview of the annual strategic plan.

Dan provided an overview of the history of his firm and background into his philosophy and strategic initiatives. Maxine Brock, MGI Worldwide’s Marketing Director, presented growth and marketing strategies, the Member Enhancement Program, and an overview of the ongoing marketing Zoom calls. Several members cited examples of how they have engaged with and benefitted from the marketing support that MGI provides to members.

The second roundtable session was a follow-up to the November 4 Practice Management Conference, “Attracting and Retaining Staff in the Most Challenging Marketplace in the History of Public Accounting.” A wide range of topics were covered, including:
