“Orkney is an important national and international hub for renewable energy development, with a wave and tidal energy device testing base and connections with developers from across the globe, who travel to Orkney to develop and test their renewable energy devices in Orkney’s waters.” Ivan Houston, Director at Scholes |
Although Scotland is part of the UK, the devolved Scottish tax system means that some of the tax laws work quite differently to the rest of the UK. Scholes Chartered Accountants can help with supporting clients who are not overly familiar with the system – particularly in relation to property transactions and income tax.
